I am a Sacramento based design professional with 8+ years of experience.

My design journey started when I created my first blog site at 12 years old, where I learned the basics of HTML and CSS. I was intrigued with using the computer as an instrument to create something visual and interactive. This led me to pursue my design career in college at Sacramento State University, where I earned my Bachelor’s of Science degree in Graphic Design.

My professional and academic experience has led me to become a well-rounded design professional who focuses on creating user-centered solutions and functional interfaces. I have worked on a variety of projects including public-facing websites, mobile applications, intranets, B2B dashboards, and web portals.

My Skills

Throughout my career, I have learned the fundamental skills it takes to strategically solve problems by delivering solutions that are intuitive, functional, and visually engaging. As a motivated self-starter, I am willing to learn any tool or skill for any project at hand.

  • The user experience is the most fundamental aspect of any product, app, or website. To discover the most valuable insights on user behavior, I can conduct user experience research through business analysis, user interviews, card sorting exercises, user story writing. User data is transformed into wireframes to communicate the story of the user experience.

  • As a designer with a solid background in graphic design, I can create interfaces that are visually engaging, yet functional. My designs are carefully crafted so that they are aligned with project requirements, company branding, and user story needs.

  • In addition to creating the visual aspects of a design, I am also skilled in writing the end-user content for the interface.

  • Sometimes you need to see it, to believe it! I can create interactive prototypes to see how a website or product actually feels. I use this method to test and validate my solutions with actual users before handing off to development.

  • Once my designs are finalized and ready to ship, I create detailed style guides and documentation to ensure that the final solution is being implemented as expected. This may include specifications on UI elements, functionality, and any other design requirements.
